It is that time of the year where after-Christmas sales are at their peak and no one can give us too much grief about shopping a little too much.
Victoria’s Secret and Express are in the tail end of their semi-annual sales so if you plan accordingly, you can get outfits for the other seasons as well. Victoria’s Secret has bras on sale and an extra 25% off all their clearance; everything from plaid p.j.’s, silk robes, yoga pants and more, not to mention select swim separates are only $9.99, which is a steal considering most tops usually average $50. I found the softest leggings I’ve ever felt which just so happen to be lined with a thin layer of fleece to keep you warm and comfy. They surprisingly do not make your legs look thicker than they actually are which was awesome! I bought two swim suits for me, one for each of my sisters, the fleece leggings, a beach towel, body shimmer, lip gloss, travel-sized perfume, make-up bag, and a t-shirt for just a little over $100.
Express has an extra 25% off all clearance as well. Even though I am not a big fan of dress pants, even I couldn’t help giving in. The dress pants are usually around $70, I got my pair on clearance for $25. Even some of the matching suit jackets are clearance.
Although their clothes are comfy and cute, be careful not to spend all your Christmas money in one place.
Bealls, “the Florida store” – though only located in Florida – is celebrating its 100th Anniversary today and tomorrow. Special deals can also be found online at beallsflorida.com for those who like the beach vibe style but are a little far from the Florida beaches. The classic “Florida” brands such as Guy Harvey and Tervis Tumblers are 1915 in celebration of the year the first Bealls opened, along with other things like linen pants which are a must for walking the shores at night or relaxing in the shade. They also have a $10 off $50 coupon and an extra 30% off clearance which ranges from athletic wear and swim to work separates and surf brands like Billabong, Hurley, Roxy, and more. I got an Oneil dress, a couple tops, Nike athletic capris, and two workout tops for about $50, which is less than the original price of the Nike capris.
Abercrombie & Fitch has up to 70% off all their remaining outerwear. For some quality winter wear in classic styles, you cannot beat 70% off. Also, it will make your whole closet smell amazing for at least a week. I bought two jackets, one regularly $200 which I will definitely use when I go up north in a week, the other is a lighter weight jacket, regularly $100. They are both fitted though warm and do not take away from the feminine physique which has been a main concern of mine in the past when it comes to looking cute in winter bulk.
Armani Exchange is even getting in on the action. Half of their store is 60% off, making them a very affordable name brand. I got a t-shirt for less than $15 which is cute and pink. Even their wallets are 60% off, men’s and women’s.
H&M is trying to get rid of their remaining winter fashions. Those pricey pleather accented items that are always in fashion in winter, are so affordable I don’t mind not being able to wear them till next year. Sweaters and sequins are fun too, if paired right, you can use them for a couple more months before you box up the winter clothes.
