Volunteered as the Event Coordinator

I helped bring the neighborhood community together children and families-to participate in a free and safe Halloween event for the public held in The Edgemoor Neighborhood in NE St. Petersburg. My assistance included, communicating with the president, vice president, treasurer, secretary, members and volunteers of The Edgemoor Neighborhood Association and the City of St. Petersburg, adhering to city codes, permits and obtaining approval for festivities.

World Beer Festival:
St. Petersburg Coliseum
Volunteered as the Volunteer Coordinator (A.W.A.P.S.)

This event was to help raise money for Albert Whitted Airport Preservation and Society (AWAPS) in order to help the airport remain successful. I initiated this idea and proposed it to the president of AWAPS I coordinated the volunteers and assisted Three Zebras Entertain in the planning and execution of this event.

American Heart Association Annual Heart Walk:
Tampa Bay Area (Raymond James Stadium)
Heart Walk Specialist Intern
Attendance: 1500 -3000

Managed volunteers with needed tasks, and provided additional help for staff, management and directors throughout the event. With this large event which included thousands of people was held outside around the premises of Raymond James Stadium. Organized and communicated with on-site vendors, catering staff and activities such as: games, running errands, collecting donations and coordinating certain groups of volunteers prior event and during. I also performed detailed creative work such as, making banners, flyers, sponsorship gifts, awards for top walkers etc…
