Over the years, I have taken a lot of photos. It wasn’t until a couple years ago that I learned the components that make a good photo. It is not just seeing and photographing something interesting and different. Amazing things will be amazing no matter how skilled a photographer you are, but to really capture the essence of something is a skill; a skill I am still developing and am loving every minute of it. You can take a picture of the pyramids and it could be cool, or you can take a photo of pyramids and try to capture the essence of them. Grandiosity, emotion, the moment… this is what I will continue to search for each time I press the shutter.
