Neighborhood News Bureau
This is a class that focused on the Midtown area of South St. Petersburg, in an effort to tell stories from a community that isn’t frequently covered by the mainstream media.
The stories featured here I had to seek out and report on my own.
The first story is about an AmeriCorps teacher working at the Academy Prep Center of St. Petersburg.
The second story is about the Food and Drink editor at Creative Loafing Tampa, Meaghan Habuda.
The third story is about a ridealong experience with police officer Bryan Rentas-Pina of the St. Pete Police Department.
The Crow’s Nest
