The best party of the season
Molly Hunsinger transformed Sarasota Magazine’s annual Best of Sarasota party from a sparsely attended, run-of-the-mill mixer into a sold-out, over-the-top, themed experience showcasing editors’ and readers’ picks of the best local dining, shopping and entertainment.
Hunsinger managed the event logistics, vendor coordination, custom sponsorship opportunities, marketing and promotions from 2012 – 2014. Under her leadership, advertising sales and event sponsorship revenue and attendance increased by more than 150%.
With increases across the board in attendance, revenue, exposure, social media buzz, guest, sponsor and nonprofit partner satisfaction, the Best of Sarasota party became a high-caliber event elevating the magazine’s brand and building confidence with sponsors, advertisers and the community at-large.
